Does it take a fair amount of caffeine to get you moving in the morning? That certainly seems to be the case for actor Pedro Pascal, after his somewhat supercharged coffee order was shared online.

The star of The Last of Us was captured on video by a fan as he was signing autographs, having just taken a trip to Starbucks. The video by TikTok user @alexafromspace shows Pascal signing an action figure from Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, in which he plays the lead role.

“Met THE DADDY of the daddies 2 weeks ago and he was pure gold,” they captioned the video.

People then started to notice that, in the clip, it is possible to see the star's drink label, which reveals his order.

And, wow, does it contain a whole heap of caffeine!

Pascal, who plays Joel in The Last of Us, has an iced quad espresso in a venti cup with extra ice and SIX shots. One shot of espresso contains about 64 mg of caffeine, which puts his drink at close to 400 mg of caffeine in total.

Working on the assumption that the order contains six espresso shots in total (and not in addition to), that means that there is about 384 mg of caffeine in his drink.

As reported by People, the US Food and Drug Administration says that a healthy adult can safely have 400 milligrams a day, which is about four or five cups of regular coffee. Looks like the star actor is doing his all at once!

In a follow up TikTok video, @alexafromspace posted a close-up of the order, captioning it, “Daddy needs his coffee every morning to carry the entire world and a fandom over his shoulders.”

Other commenters couldn’t believe the order. One person wrote: “That is a violent amount of coffee.”

Another wrote: “one time the barista gave me 6 shots instead of 3 and I could read thoughts.”

Elsewhere, people suggested there was even more caffeine in the drink. One person wrote: “Someone else said it’s 8 shots 👁👄👁”. Another said: “It’s 10 actually 😭”

Someone else fancied trying it, saying: “I’ll be ordering the Pedro Pascal tomorrow.”

You can see Pedro Pascal in season three of The Mandalorian on Disney+, and in The Last of Us on Sky/NOW.
