Knives Out stars Chris Evans and Ana De Armas join forces again for Ghosted, a new thriller.

Fans are used to seeing Evans play the hero as Captain America, but this new film flips the roles around with de Armas coming in to rescue him.

Ana de Armas plays Sadie in the AppleTV film.

She plays a secret CIA agent who ghosts romantic farmer Cole (Evans) after a one night stand.

In a bid to woo her he flies to London to try to find her, but finds himself sedated, kidnapped and interrogated.

The synopsis reads; “Salt-of-the-earth Cole (Evans) falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie (de Armas) – but then makes the shocking discovery that she’s a secret agent. Before they can decide on a second date, Cole and Sadie are swept away on an international adventure to save the world.”

Cole exclaims: “You got me kidnapped and tortured all after one date!”

Adrien Brody and Mike Moh star as the villains.

Alongside Evans and de Armas will be Amy Sedaris, Tim Blake Nelson, Tate Donovan, and The Old Guard’s Marwan Kenzari.

Apple is releasing many movies this year, includin Argylle starring Henry Cavill, Tetris with Taron Egerton, and Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Ghosted premieres on April 21, 2023.
