The competition is ramping up now with Blackpool just one week away, and it’s time to see what’s in store for our remaining couples in week eight.
Ahead of the live show on Saturday (12th November), the BBC series has revealed the songs and routines the couples will be dancing to this week as they set their sights on the infamous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
There is no theme this week, so we’ve got a mixed bag!
Here’s a full list of songs and dances for week 8:
Ellie & Johannes: Charleston to Friendship by Elaine Paige and Bernard Cribbins
Fleur & Vito: Samba to Hot Hot Hot by Arrow
Helen & Gorka: Salsa to Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber
Kym & Graziano: American Smooth to Chasing Cars by Cinematic Pop
Molly & Carlos: Rumba to All The Man That I Need by Whitney Houston
Hamza & Jowita: Couple's Choice to Jerusalema - Remix by Master KG feat. Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode
Tony & Katya: Jive to Land of 1000 Dances by Wilson Pickett
Tyler & Dianne: Paso Doble to Unstoppable by E.S. Posthumus
Will & Nancy: Waltz to Three Times A Lady by Commodores
On Sunday night (13th November) we sadly said goodbye to Ellie Simmonds and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin after they ended up in the dance-off against Molly Rainford and her partner Carlos Gu.
After performing their Charleston to Too Darn Hot from Kiss Me Kate once again, Ellie’s time on the show came to an end after the four judges opted to save Molly.
Prior to her elimination, Ellie spoke exclusively to virginradio.co.uk and revealed what she would be taking away from the competition.
She said: “I think on a personal note, and doing something that I never would have thought I'd do before going in, I know now that I can do stuff that's way out of my comfort zone. I think that's given me a lot of confidence.
“The people too, meeting all the celebs and the pros, everyone that's part of Strictly, I think we've made friends for life, in a cheesy way, but I think it's true because you just connect straight away with everyone and you feel so close with so many people.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday 12th November at 6:55pm on BBC One.
