Victoria Beckham has praised husband David Beckham following the launch of his new Disney+ series, Save Our Squad.

The Beckham family were all out to celebrate the premiere of his new project, in which the former England footballer returns to his London roots to help the under-14s Westward Boys up their game and their league position.

Showing their support, Posh Spice joined children Cruz, Romeo and Harper in the audience, and the fashion designer admitted she was "emotional" while watching Becks tackle his latest challenge.

Taking to Instagram, Victoria wrote: “I couldn’t be prouder tonight of @DavidBeckham and his INCREDIBLE @studio99 team.

“I was totally blown away and emotional this evening watching the screening of #SaveOurSquad. See it on @DisneyPlus from November 9th xx VB”

Son Romeo also shared his own photos from the event, and added: “Proud of you dad can’t wait for the rest of the series.”

David himself grew emotional during the screening, during which he told Q+A host Alex Scott about the importance of Save Our Squad.

As reported by Metro, He told the presenter: “I wanted people to see how important grassroots football is. It’s all about community, not only just in East London, but across the UK.

"To be part of a team is to be part of a community."

In Save Our Squad, the sporting star will spread some of his magic by coaching and training players while giving them some much-needed nurturing.

At the time the series was announced in 2021, Beckham said: “I was so fortunate to have a long and successful playing career and now to have the opportunity to give back to these communities as a mentor is incredible.

“Developing and nurturing young talent is so important in the game and it is great to be working with Disney+ on this project.”

David Beckham: Save Our Squad will be available to watch on Disney+ from 9th November.
