Who knew that the Saw films were still going?

The petrifying Jigsaw will be back again for a new edition of the Saw franchise, and be prepared to get scared again.

Tobin Bell will return as the Jigsaw Killer John Kramer.

The next film has been given the working title of Saw X.

He will be working with director Kevin Greuter, who also directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter.

Before that, he edited Saw I through V and Jigsaw.

Spoilers ahead!

For the uninitiated, Jigsaw first terrified audiences in the original Saw in 2004.

The horrific Jigsaw is a serial killer who captures his victims and challenges them in terrifying “games”.

He works out their worst fears and pits them against it, to see how much they want to survive.

Jigsaw was killed off in Saw III, however appeared in flashbacks, until Spiral.

Fans are now wondering if Jigsaw will be a copycat, apprentice, or whether this will be a prequel.

Franchise producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules said: “What a thrill to be reuniting with Tobin. His performance as John Kramer is part of the magic that made this franchise a phenomenon and his character is an active part of this film.”

Saw X will be released on Oct 27, 2023.

Are you ready?

Elsewhere, Hocus Pocus received a sequel at long last.
