Last week the show joined in with the BBC's 100th anniversary celebrations with dances to different theme songs and music from the channel over the years.

Sadly, we said goodbye to Jayde Adams and her partner Karen Hauer after they ended up in the dance-off with Molly and Carlos.

Speaking exclusively to virginradio.co.uk prior to her exit, Jayde revealed that she and Karen were now friends from life and that she had discovered a newfound love of moving and dancing.

When asked what she will be taking about from her Strictly experience, Jayde said: “My friendship with Karen. Literally, we will know each other forever. So it's literally having a mate I've just made who I love.

“I haven't moved for years because of COVID, but moving around, finding a way to enjoy moving without it being like I have to do it because society is telling me that I shouldn't look the way I look. This has been the first time where I've actually enjoyed moving for moving sake and not feel like I'm doing like 100 squats every day.”
