An artificial intelligence-generated podcast, in which the late Steve Jobs is interviewed by Joe Rogan, has been released.

Although Steve Jobs died back in 2011 after being diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer, AI has somehow created a 20-minute fictional podcast, which sees the Apple founder talk to Joe Rogan about a number of topics.

Speech from both men was cloned by, a voice synthesis company based in Dubai.

The somewhat eerie podcast is the first episode in a series called, which is set to be a weekly podcast generated by artificial intelligence.

After the AI version of Rogan opens the chat by praising Jobs for his innovations and calling him “a memory from the past”, the fake pair discuss the computer industry, life and Buddhism, the latter of which he studied a Reed College. The artificial Jobs said: “What I learned in Reed College is not about believing in God or not, or what the right answer is, it is about asking the right questions.”

Clips from the conversation have been shared online:

The website says: "The episodes are rendered using’s ultra-realistic voices and transcripts are generated with fine-tuned language models.

"We wanted to push the boundaries of what is possible in current state of the art speech synthesis, we wanted to create content that can inspire others to do the same, and there was no one who inspired and impacted the technology world more than Steve Jobs, that's why in the first episode we brought his voice back to life.”

The website explains: “The Steve Jobs episode was trained on his biography and all recordings of him we could find online so the AI could accurately bring him back to life.”

If you have a bright idea of who you would like to appear - in AI form - on the podcast, then there is a form on the website to let them know.

Some of the suggestions that have already been made include a conversation between Buddha and Einstein, and Donald Trump interviewing himself!
