Jayde Adams shares the last picture she had with her sister after dedicating her dance on Saturday to the her memory.

Saturday night's edition of Strictly Come Dancing was an emotional one, as contestant Jayde Adams dedicated her performance to the memory of her late sister.

Jenna died aged 29 of a brain tumour eleven years ago and was a huge fan of singer Bette Midler, and Jayde and partner Karen Hauer duly performed an American Smooth to the American singer's 1988 hit 'Wind Beneath My Wings'.

Jayde couldn't control her tears as she chatted to host Claudia Winkleman after her performance.

Later, after the show, Jayde shared a touching tribute to her late sister, via her Instagram.

Speaking to her 126,000 followers, Jayde wrote: "Last picture we ever had together. Her love for me was so strong, I’ll never ever feel unloved in my life.

"I will grieve my loss for her for the rest of my life, it is the most important thing that has ever happened and I am beyond grateful to be able to channel my grief through creativity, thank you @bbcstrictly@karenhauer."

She continued: "This is Jenna Adams everyone, she will never be forgotten. And yes she would be so proud of me, astounded @claudiawinkle said her name and very jealous I’m on Strictly, we loved this show together."

The performance saw the pair earn huge praise from the judges, including head judge Shirley Ballas.

Shirley Ballas, whose brother passed away in 2003, said, "I'm just really emotional, it was graceful, you do it your way. your lifts were great.

"Thank you for doing that for everyone who has lost someone."
