Coldplay’s leading man Chris Martin designed a tattoo for a fan during one of their recent shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.

During their performance of Fix You when they appeared at the venue on 20th August, Martin spotted a sign held by fan Mattie Jolley asking the singer to design a tattoo for them.

According to reports from people at the gig, the frontman then kneeled down onstage and indicated to Jolley to get a pen and paper and while he sang the hit song, drew a design on their notepad.

Jolley later posted the moment it happened on Twitter with a video captioned: “So Last night still hasn’t hit. Getting Don’t Panic was great but better of all, Chris saw my sign and came down to me during Fix You to draw me a tattoo…like WHAT!!!!!!”

Other fans of the band took to the comments to share their joy (and jealousy), with one user writing: “OMG! I would die if that happened!!! I’m so jelly! Lucky lucky you!”

Another said: “He's a pretty and lovely person!”

A third simply said: “That’s F***king amazing man.”

The Music of the Spheres performances at Wembley have been full of iconic moments, during one of their performances, Coldplay brought Natalie Imbruglia onstage to perform a duet of Summer Nights in honour of the late Olivia Newton-John.

During another performance, the band was also joined by 7 Days hitmaker Craig David. The pair performed David’s aforementioned hit as well as Live In The Moment and Fill Me In.

This comes after Coldplay announced new UK dates for their Music Of The Spheres tour. Tickets for the new dates in Manchester and Cardiff went on sale yesterday at 10am and completely sold out.

The band also celebrated the 20th anniversary of their second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head, yesterday.
