John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen announce pregnancy: 'Everything is perfect'

Congrats to singer John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen, who just announced they are expecting another child together.

Model Chrissy shared the exciting news via Instagram, in which she showed off her growing baby bump.

In September 2020, John and Chrissy, who are parents to Luna and Miles, announced they had lost a baby they had named Jack, after suffering with pregnancy complications. 

In the caption of her announcement picture, Chrissy said she was nervous to share the news, but it was too difficult to keep their bundle of joy a secret. 

The TV personality wrote: “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. 

“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce” but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. 

Chrissy continued: “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”

Famous friends, such as Kate Beckinsale, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and Kate Hudson used the post to send their love and well wishes to the Lip Sync Battle co-host and her Ordinary People husband.

Queer Eye’s Tan France wrote: “Yay!! I’m so, so happy for you guys, love,” while co-star Bobby Berk added: “Congrats love!!”

Actress Mandy Moore said: “Congrats to you and your family !!! Sending you all the good thoughts and love,” while Gabrielle Union commented: “YESSSSS!!! So happy for you guys!!!”

In more baby news, Bleeding Love singer Leona Lewis just announced the birth of her first child with husband Dennis Jauch.

The singer posted the news on Instagram with an adorable photo of herself, her husband and their new baby girl, who they have named Carmel Allegra.

In the caption, she wrote: “And then there were three Our little Carmel Allegra arrived 22.7.22 .”
