Boxing legend Chris Eubank isn't just a star in the ring, he's a guru in the kitchen too. According to the sporting icon, he's a whizz in the kitchen and has taught Masterchef a thing or two.

The former boxing legend told Radio Times: “I wouldn’t say MasterChef has changed my relationship to food. It’s almost as though I had to teach them what the relationship is between the chef and the food…

"When I cook, whether my wife is there or not, it’s like I’m on a date. I dim the lights, I put on Nat King Cole. I am floating in there. Let me tell you, any woman would die to be in that kitchen.”

The BBC One cooking show kicks off on August 10 starring former Love Island-er Faye Winter, Strictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones, McFly singer Danny Jones and comedian Paul Chuckle, plus TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher, former footballer Jimmy Bullard and actor Ryan Thomas.

Former EastEnders actor Richard Blackwood joins former All Saints singer Melanie Blatt and comedian Kae Kurd in the all-star cooking contest, plus reality star MoJo, TV star Nancy Dell’Olio and actors Lesley Joseph, Adam Pearson and Clarke Peters.

Coming up on the show will be cooking challenges Under The Cloche, The Street Food Challenge and Dinner Party Dish during the four-week heats.

We're so fired up for this.
