Kate Middleton shares cute photo of Prince George on his birthday looking 'just like his dad'

Kate Middleton has shared a super-sweet photo of Prince George Alexander Louis to mark his birthday today and the public can't believe how much he looks like Prince William.

"George is turning 9!" the caption read on the official Instagram page of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The third in line to the throne was born almost a decade ago, weighing in at 8lb 6oz at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London on July 22 2013.

The public commented on the cute, candid photograph: "He’s looking so much like his daddy these days! Happy Birthday George!"

A second added: "What a fantastic photo! George looks so much like his dad."

"He looks just like William to me! Beautiful boy. Happy birthday PG," said another.

The Royal Family's official account added: "Happy 9th birthday, Prince George!"
