As fans prepare to say goodbye to Neighbours for the very last time, the show is turning its attention to something very exciting.

The beloved soap will celebrate 37 years on telly with Neighbours: The Farewell Tour, which will take place across eight venues across the UK in March 2023.

According to Digital Spy, Neighbours were originally putting on a Live In Conversation show for the 35th anniversary in 2020, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The publication states that an official confirmation will be coming out in a few days, and there will be stops in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

Neighbours: The Farewell Tour will see much-loved cast members come together to look back on the incredible legacy of the Aussie daytime series.

A source told the outlet: “The show looks set to be the ultimate celebration of Neighbours and a chance for fans to say their final goodbyes.

"The cast were touched by the outpouring of love from UK fans after Neighbours' cancellation was announced. Some of the best-loved stars will now be flying out to celebrate with fans in person."

Life on Ramsay Street will come to an end on 1st August, and the likes of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce will help see out the long-running series in a star-studded hour-long finale.

Very little is known about Neighbours’ final moments, with the series finale being filmed this week, but telly insiders told The Sun that it could be Kylie and Jason, who played couple Charlene and Scott, sharing a lovely moment together in the very last scene of the episode.

The source said: “Kylie and Jason have such strong ties to the series they didn't even think twice about returning.

"The final scene will make fans well up and sees Charlene and Scott return to the street as they declare ‘we're home.’”
