The new series of Celebrity Gogglebox is just days away and we’ve got two new celebs joining the line-up.

Eurovision hero and Space Man singer Sam Ryder will be appearing on the new series of Celebrity Gogglebox after expressing his love for the show.

He will be joining pal Scott Mills, who confirmed the news in a tweet last week.

The post included a picture of the pair with the caption: “I’m joining #CelebrityGogglebox!! Me and @SamRyderMusic will be on the sofa when the series returns next Friday on Channel 4.”

Ryder, of course, lead the UK to a near victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 after years of coming bottom of the leader board. With his original song Space Man, Ryder managed to get us to second place after losing out to Ukraine in the public vote.

Fans were delighted to hear the news that the singer would be joining the hit Channel 4 show and took to Twitter to show their excitement.

One user said: “omg!! So happy this is happening- Sam did us so proud and I love yours [Scott] and Rylan’s coverage of the Eurovision semi finals, can’t wait for this.”

Another wrote: “Yesssssssssss ❤️ made my day this has. Love Gogglebox, love you two. Winner, winner 🙌”.

A third commented: “Yes!!! Two googlebox super fans actually on googlebox!! You’ll be brilliant!!!”

Also joining Sam and Scott for the Celebrity version of the show will be Strictly Come Dancing champions Oti Mabuse and Bill Bailey including return duos Nick and Liv Grimshaw, Rylan and Linda Clark and Lorraine and daughter Rosie.

Shaun Ryder and Bez, Stacey Solomon and Joe Sawsh, Melanie C and brother Paul, Martin and Roman Kemp and Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe will also be returning to their sofas, along with Loose Women stars Judi Love and Charlene White, Clare Blading and Alice Arnold, Zoe Ball and son Woody Cook, Miquita and Andi Oliver and Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher.

Denise Van Outen will also be returning to Celebrity Gogglebox with new partner Duncan James.

Finally, Anne-Marie will be making a comeback to the series with her sister Samantha after appearing on the show with the likes of Sir Tom Jones and Ed Sheeran.

This comes after news that one of Gogglebox’s favourite families, the Baggs, will be leaving the show after series three.

Celebrity Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 on 10 June.
