After 35 years on the Hollywood scene, Sandra Bullock has revealed she’ll be taking a well-deserved break from acting.

The Oscar-winner didn’t specify how long she’ll be away from the big screen for, but that she’s ‘happiest’ while taking care of her two children, Louis and Laila.

In an interview with ET Online, Sandra explained: “I need to be in the place that makes me happiest. I take my job very seriously when I’m at work. And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family.

"We don't know how long or how sort but that’s where I’m gonna be for a while.”

When it comes to what Sandra plans to do with her family time, she replied: “Servicing their every need” and taking care of “their social calendar”.

After two years of the coronavirus pandemic, the Gravity actress revealed she’s also become a ‘crazy lady’ when it came to keeping her kids safe from the virus.

She added: "They know their children will return without COVID when they’ve come to our house."

Sandra discussed her acting hiatus while promoting her new movie ‘The Lost City’, in which she stars alongside Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt.

The Lost City centres around romance-adventure novelist Loretta Sage, played by Sandra, as she heads out on a book tour with the devilishly handsome cover model Alan, expertly played by Channing.

Things take a real turn though when Daniel Radcliffe pops up as a maniacal billionaire, and kidnaps Loretta in the hopes she can help him uncover the Lost City she writes about.

During their intrepid journey, Alan and Loretta turn their attention to finding the Lost City themselves, but a rugged Brad lands to try and save them both from the mess the billionaire made.

The Lost City is out in cinemas on 15th April 2022.
