The 2022 BAFTAs will pay homage to 60 years of 007.

Legendary singer Dame Shirley Bassey will open up the annual film awards at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond franchise.

Bassey is the only singer to record multiple Bond themes, and will hit the stage for a 007 track to be revealed on the night itself.

Across her incredible 69-year career, Bassey sang Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker for the long-running franchise.

The Bond series has enjoyed great success at the BAFTAs, picking up 32 nominations throughout the years.

Daniel Craig’s last adventure as the MI6 spy, No Time To Die, is also up for 5 prizes at this year's ceremony, including Best British Film.

Alongside Dame Shirley Bassey, Leading Actress nominee Emilia Jones will also perform a song from her movie CODA.

She’ll hit the stage for a rendition of Joni Mitchell’s ballad ‘Both Side Now’, which Emilia, who is the daughter of Aled Jones, sang in the nominated films.

Bassey will be in good musical company too as Lady Gaga will present the EE Rising Star segment during the star-studded event.

This year’s nominees include Dune, which ended up on top with 11 nominations, including Best Film and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Next up was The Power Of The Dog with eight nominations, including Best Director for Jane Campion and Benedict Cumberbatch for Leading Actor.

Kenneth Branagh's Belfast picked up six nominations. The semi-autobiographical film landed a spot on the Best Film, Best Original Screenplay category and Outstanding British Film lists.

Line of Duty star Stephen Graham is up for Leading Actor for his role in Boiling Point, and will have to compete with the likes of Will Smith, Mahershala Ali and Leonardo DiCaprio for the prize.

Rebel Wilson will host the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards ceremony on Sunday 13th March. It will air at 7pm on BBC One, BBC One HD and BBC iPlayer.
