It’s the Spice Girls like you’ve never seen them before!

The ultimate girl power band are being honoured by the makers at LEGO with their very own buildable set, and after teasing the release, SG fans can get their hands on the blocks from today (March 1st).

The LEGO BrickHeadz Spice Girls Tribute set is £44.99, and features Posh, Baby, Sporty, Scary and Ginger, clad in the famous Union Jack dress of course!

Daniel Squirrel, the LEGO designer behind the creation, said in a statement: “There are few bands that defined pop culture in the same way the Spice Girls did back in the 1990s, and it’s been such fun bringing the band to life.”

According to Daniel, the Spice Girls are the first real band to get their own BrickHeadz, which re-imagines people in small cubic versions of themselves.

Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Emma Bunton are all given the BrickHeadz treatment in some of their iconic outfits. For Baby Spice, it’s the pink dress and pigtails, and of course, Scary Spice is clad in leopard print.

The BrickHeadz even come with two microphones and stands, so you can even recreate your favourite Spice Girls performance in cube form.

Daniel continued: “What we really, really wanted was to capture the essence and nostalgia of the Spice Girls, through their iconic looks.”

The Spice Girls are the first real-life people to get turned into BrickHeadz. The fictional likes of Harry Potter, Sonic the Hedgehog and Seinfeld have had their iconic sets and characters re-imagined in blocks.

Sharing the exciting news on Twitter, Scary Spice herself Mel B said: “Yipppeeee This is sooooo exciting! We have our own @LEGO_group BrickHeadz. This is the first time real people have been made in to BrickHeadz, yippeee!”
