Everyone's favourite actor may well be appearing in a new TV series, according to new reports.
The Matrix star is said to be in discussions about starring in the forthcoming Martin Scorsese series adaptation of 'The Devil In The White City.'
Deadline says he is in negotiations to appear in Hulu’s series based on Erik Larson’s 2003 book.
It would be the first time Keanu has starred in a major TV series.
'The Devil In The White City' has been a long time coming, after Leonardo DiCaprio bought the film rights back in 2010.
Superstar DiCaprio will be an executive producer on the project too, and it was announced by Hulu back in 2019.
Scorsese is also exec producing as well as Leo alongside Rick Yorn, Sam Shaw, Jennifer Davisson and Stacey Sher.
An official synopsis reads: “The Devil In The White City tells the true story of two men, an architect and a serial killer, whose fates were forever linked by The Chicago World’s Fair of 1893,”
“It follows Daniel H. Burnham, a brilliant and fastidious architect racing to make his mark on the world and Henry H. Holmes, a handsome and cunning doctor who fashioned his own pharmaceutical ‘Murder Castle’ on fair grounds – a palace built to seduce, torture and mutilate young women.
“The story takes the viewer on a tour of murder, romance and mystery in the gilded age.”
Keanu Reeves has been making headlines again for repeating his role in The Matrix for the long-awaited fourth film in the franchise.
Producers have been teasing another sequel for the much-loved series.
However, fans shouldn't get their hopes up for a sequel after Keanu insisted there are no plans: “I would say that Lana [ Wachowski, director] would not do another Matrix,” Reeves said.
He also donated 70% of his salary for the role to cancer research, it has been reported.
