We all love a bit of daytime TV, don't we? Whether it’s This Morning, Loose Women, Bargain Hunt, Escape to the Country, or the ultimate afternoon show, Countdown, there is always something on the box to ease us through our days. And now there’s a new contender to add to our list of must-watch daytime programmes.

A new ITV show fronted by Gok Wan is the latest gem in daytime telly’s crown, and if you weren’t already aware of it, here’s all the information you need to bring you up to date.

The show is called Bling, and it’ll come as no surprise that it’s about jewellery. There are 20 hour-long episodes, which delve into the dazzling world of jewellery and beyond; from buying and selling to making and fixing eye-catching pieces, figurines and more.

ITV said: “In the show’s very own Bling store, bling is king. It’s a one-stop shop with four distinct counters, one dedicated to each process, with charismatic experts on hand to guide, advise and get the best deals.”

Each episode sees couples seeking that perfect engagement ring, selling a hidden gem such as a delicate pocket watch, fixing a much-loved family treasure, or even creating a one-off bespoke item.

There are countless heart-warming, emotive stories behind the trinkets, meaning that both heart and purse strings are pulled, as customers look to sell, buy, or restore items.

The show has craft experts, whose skills are stretched as they work on everything from necklaces to carriage clocks.

Gok said: “Jewellery can mean so much more than simply being just an accessory. And figurines, timepieces and delicate heirlooms often carry a special significance. I can't wait to see some beautiful bling and delve into the stories that really make it sparkle”

The How to Look Good Naked and This Morning star filmed Bling in Exeter, Devon, specifically in an empty retail unit in the Guildhall and Dining Centre, which was not open to the public during the production of the show.

If Bling sounds like your cup of afternoon tea, then you can watch it every weekday at 2pm on ITV. The show has been running since the start of this week, from Monday October 11th, and you can catch up on the shows you missed on the ITV Hub.
