Would you dare to stay at this notorious hotel? The former manager has spoken about claims that she tampered with the Elisa Lam video footage.

Amy Price was interviewed by andsaid: "First of all, I provided the footage. When it was presented to me... it's bizarre."

On the investigation into the disappearance and death of student Elisa in the LA hotel and accusations of editing the footage and time stamp, she said: "That's absolutely false. I was a little surprised to hear that.

"I really hadn't heard that before the documentary. I'm not surprised people feel that way based on the momentum that a lot of the sleuths have.

"There wasn't even a chance to even look at the tapes myself, I just handed them over. I provided a room for them to review them and that's exactly what they did."

The infamously creepy hotel is set to re open this year after renovations but has been known as Stay on Main since 2011.

The revamped and refurbed hotel will include a lounge, gym and rooftop pool - but Netflix fans are in two minds whether to stay in the 'spooky' hotel which has housed multiple crimes.

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel is available to stream on Netflix.
