The Cure are officially the most Googled British band of 2019

The iconic British band performed on Glastonbury Festival's Pyramid Stage earlier this year.

Google have recently revealed their 'Year in Search' results - and it seems that The Cure have topped the list. 

The band are the tenth most Googled artists on the site and reached the top spot of the British bands list.

The most searched musician in the world was the R&B star R. Kelly who has been in the media spotlight because of sexual abuse allegations. 

Also on the list was the recent 'Im A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' contestant and Girls Aloud singer, Nadine Coyle.
