The Rolling Stones have postponed their upcoming US tour due to frontman Mick Jagger falling ill
The tour was due to kick off in Miami on April 20, running for 17 dates across North America and finishing in Canada at the end of June.
Apologising directly to fans via Twitter, Jagger wrote:
Although they didn't go into detail, the band's publicist explained Jagger is "expected to make a complete recovery."
Dates have not yet been rescheduled, however ticket holders are being urged to hold onto their tickets which will remain valid.
