Serving The Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain
includes Nirvana manager Goldberg’s memories of the frontman, interviews with Courtney Love, Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, and other members of Cobain’s family and friends
Danny Goldberg managed the band between 1990 and 1994, arguably the most impactful period of Kurt’s life. He also worked with the likes of Led Zeppelin and Bonnie Raitt.
The book (out 4th April) discusses the late star’s marriage to Courtney Love, their daughter Frances Bean and his struggles with addiction. It also contains files that have been previously unavailable to the public.
The book is pitched as "the only biography written by someone who really knew him".
In a statement about the book Goldberg said:
Kurt Cobain died at his home in Seattle on April 5, 1994. His death was ruled a suicide.
