On the 25th November a month before Christmas, The Beatles famously closed down Harrods department store in London.

The shop was closed for three hours in the evening to allow the band to do their Christmas shopping.

Some of the items rumoured to be purchased by the band included items of furniture bought by George Harrison and Ringo Starr, with John Lennon purchasing a garden slide for his son, Julian.

To get that experience now you'd have to be as famous as The Beatles or shell out £10,000... Department store John Lewis is now offering customers to shut down its store and let you shop privately in true Beatles style... however, you have to put £10,000 into the till first.
