Arctic Monkeys started their homecoming tour this week, the first homecoming gig since they played the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena in 2013.

The band marked the occassion by performing a special cover of 'Fluorescent Adolescent'.

An Arctic Monkeys fan village opened in Sheffield this week to coincide with the band's UK tour arriving in the city.

Local businesses are hosting special events, photo exhibitions and limited edition custom drinks for fans.
