After the success of his debut album, Liam Gallagher is getting ready to start work on his second album this spring.

He spoke to magazine where he revealed his plans for the follow up to his number debut album As You Were.

When asked what fans can expect, he said the sound will be “more up-tempo… A bit more in-yer-face. Less apologetic.”

He went on to say: “I’d love to do a proper out-and-out punk rock album – a bit Pistols, a bit Stooges.”

His 2018 is set to be busy for the former Oasis frontman with a series of tour dates taking him through to the end of summer.

One of the dates includes a huge headline show at London's Finsbury Park on 29th June.
