Liam Gallagher could be performing at Manchester's O2 Ritz

Fans believe that Liam Gallagher could be preparing for a gig at the O2 Ritz in his hometown.

Speculation arose after local music website Manchester Dose tweeted: “You heard it here first. Liam Gallagher to play at The Ritz. More news when we get it.”

Gallagher's publicist has not commented on the speculation, nor has the singer himself confirmed the gig publically.

At the moment the only confirmed performance this year for the former Oasis frontman in the UK is at Reading and Leeds Festival.

Recently Gallagher also said that his debut solo single will be released soon.
