Prince's back catalogue will be made available on Spotify and Apple Music next month.
Previously the music has only been available on streaming site Tidal, but the company's exclusivity will come to an end in February, NME said.
In November, Prince’s estate signed a publishing deal with Universal Music for the artist’s entire catalogue, allowing for a wider streaming arrangement.
Prince’s estate is now nearing a deal to bring his songs to other streaming services, according to Billboard.
An announcement is likely to be made during a Grammys tribute to The Purple One, which takes place on February 12.
Spotify have already teased the music being made available by showing adverts with its logo in front of a purple background in Manhattan.
