Louise Williams on leaving Great British Bake Off, sheep-shaped biscuit disasters and Keeping Calm And Carrying On

The second episode of GBBO saw many crumble under the pressure of Biscuit Week.

Although she started with all the best intentions, it was unfortunately Louise Williams who left the show after a bit of a gingerbread disaster.

Still smiling and in high spirits, however, she chatted to Kate Lawler about her stint in the tent.

She described the atmosphere as fairly stressful, saying: "You’re in a strange kitchen with different appliances and equipment, and you look up and you’ve got 12 cameras pointing at you…it’s very surreal," but she added that,"it was a fantastic experience."

When asked about her biscuit fiasco, she admitted: "I’m a breadmaker, I don’t cook biscuits really, it’s not my thing. I don’t even buy them!"

But she's now determined to approve her skills in that area. "I’ll be a master biscuit maker now," she added. Good on you, Louise!
