From broken legs to judging controversies, from false starts to disputed disqualifications, the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio games had more than its fair share of shock moments.

We’ve also saw sporting history made on countless occasions, including when Ireland’s Gary and Paul O’Donovan picked up the country’s first ever rowing medal.

And the world then fell in love with them following a brilliant interview with RTÉ Sport... one in which no one outside Ireland had the faintest idea what they were on about!
