Kelly Jones reveals Stereophonics will release tenth studio album to mark 20 year anniversary

Stereophonics front man Kelly Jones has told Virgin Radio the band’s tenth studio album will come out next spring –  just in time to mark their 20th anniversary.

The Welsh rockers have had six UK number one albums, and there will be much hype and interest surrounding next year's launch of number ten.

Jones told Jon Jackson: “We’ve pretty much finished the tenth album. We’ll start mixing it in September, when the tour’s finished. I’d like to bring it out next spring time if possible.

"But I don’t want to do that with a bunch of memorabilia and B sides, and I don’t want to celebrate one album. I want to keep the band moving forward so, if it all works out, we’re going to release the tenth studio album on the 20th anniversary

"It’s sounding good at the minute so I’m looking forward to getting it out there, coming back around and playing the shows again.”
