One Republic have come a long, long way since they first came to prominence on MySpace more than a decade ago.

Their fourth album will be out soon, and last month they released their new single,.

To mark that release, Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins joined Ben Jones this weekend for a wide-ranging chat.

Among the topics up for discussion were, of course, their new single, plus things like the continued importance of radio to recording artists, the extraordinary rise and diversity of social media since their days of MySpace celebrity, and what it’s like to work and record with other bands and musicians.
