ITV’s popular rival to The Traitors will return in 2025 for another season of tense, strategic, and backstabbing television.

The Fortune Hotel - hosted again by Stephen Mangan - will begin filming for its second series later this year, returning to its luxury Caribbean-based home once more.

In the show, ten pairs of contestants compete head-to-head in an addictive suitcase swapping challenge.

The aim of the game: to be in possession of the show’s all-important suitcase which contains the Fortune Hotel’s £250k cash prize, all while trying hard to avoid being the unlucky pair who possess the case which contains the show’s dreaded early checkout card.

Series one of the dramatic show received an audience high of 3.1 million viewers on ITV and a total of 5.9 million streams via ITVX. And with season two now confirmed, it’s possible for any of the first season’s fans to become a part of the second season’s events.

How can I apply for The Fortune Hotel series two?

So, think you have what it takes to take on the case-swapping challenge? Prospective pairs can apply via this link to appear on season two.

But take care, as each person in every pair must apply separately to the competition, but make sure they include the same video of themselves together in the application.

Applicants are also reminded that all contestants must be 18 years or older, and are told: “The show will be filmed at a luxury resort in a tropical destination and will require you to be able to commit to being away for up to 4 weeks. It helps to supply as much information as you can about yourself and the partner who you think would be the best person to help you take home the fortune.”

Celebrating the recommission of The Fortune Hotel, ITV’s director of reality and acquisitions Paul Mortimer shared: “The Fortune Hotel proved to be genuine, talked about television, captivating the audience from start to finish with its ingenious format and numerous twists and turns. Highly acclaimed by viewers and the press, we're thrilled to be bringing this wonderful show back for a second season.”

Show executive producer Steph Harris added: “We're thrilled to be opening the doors of the Fortune Hotel again and can't wait to see who will be checking in to play a gripping game of subterfuge and are already planning lots of deliciously devious surprises to ensure our guests never get too comfortable during their stay.”

The Fortune Hotel series one is available to binge now on ITVX. The Fortune Hotel series two will air on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player in 2025.
