The Material Girl is back in action, reflecting on her health journey and triumphant return to the stage.
Madonna, the Queen of Pop and ultimate Material Girl, is celebrating a milestone year after surviving a life-threatening bacterial infection.
Our favourite superstar took to Instagram to share her joy and gratitude in a heartfelt post that marks her incredible journey back to health.
"Happy 4th of July," Madonna wrote, accompanying a series of stunning selfies and glamorous snaps from her glitzy NYC celebration with friends.

Ever the fashion icon, she donned a silky red gown, matching fingerless gloves, and layers of silver jewellery, proving she’s still got that Vogue-worthy style.
Reflecting on her health scare, she penned: "A year ago today, I had just come home from the hospital after surviving a life-threatening illness.
"I could barely stand in my backyard holding one sparkler. I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year."
She added: "Thank you God. Life is beautiful!"
It’s hard to believe that just last June, Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary revealed that she was in intensive care with a serious bacterial infection.
The news had fans worldwide holding their breath. She spent several days in the ICU, cancelling 'all commitments,' including her highly anticipated Madonna: The Celebration Tour.
Oseary kept fans updated, writing: "Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected."
The Celebration Tour, postponed for her health, officially kicked off in London on October 14, 2023, and wrapped up on May 4, 2024, with rave reviews and record-breaking sales.
During a New York show in December, Madonna revealed the severity of her illness, sharing: "I was in an induced coma for 48 hours."
She also thanked her inner circle, saying: "There are some very important people in the room tonight that were with me at the hospital.
"There's one very important woman who dragged me to the hospital I don't even remember; I passed out on my bathroom floor and woke up in the ICU. She saved my life."
An insider told Us Weekly that Madonna was relying heavily on her support system, saying: "She has an incredible support system around her and appreciates all the love she’s received.
"It’s a work in progress but she’s feeling confident and better every day.”
And what a comeback it was! Madonna returned to the stage with a bang, generating the wealth of a small country.
The six-month Celebration Tour closed with a whopping $225.4 million and 1.1 million tickets sold over 80 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore.
The Celebration Tour is Madonna’s sixth trek to gross more than $100 million.
The only other acts to achieve this feat are the Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and U2, making her the sole woman in this elite group.
