Victoria and David Beckham had fans in hysterics over their incredible 25th wedding celebrations on social media.

The famous couple tied the knot on 4th July 1999, and they marked their silver wedding anniversary by donning the legendary purple ensembles they famously rocked at their reception.

The regal snap features both Posh and Becks on those unmistakable gold thrones they used on the big day, dressed in the same glamorous purple gown and suit they donned all those years ago.

The cheeky caption read: “Look what we found....", alongside a purple heart emoji and a laughing face.

Fans were thrilled to see such an elaborate callback for their anniversary celebrations, with one writing: “Why does this still look as iconic as the first time!!!”

“Hail to the Queen and King of the fabulous world,” wrote another, while a third said: “This is the only monarchy I recognise. Happy anniversary, kids.”

Spice Girl Victoria and football legend David first met at a Manchester United match in 1997, while the Spice Girls were racing up the charts with the likes of Wannabe and Say You’ll Be There.

The power couple were engaged a year later, and their marriage at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland garnered plenty of media attention.

Eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, then four months old, was ringbearer, and wore a similarly dazzling outfit complete with purple bib.

Victoria and David went on to have three more children - Romeo, Cruz and Harper - and their joint wealth is reportedly estimated at £355 million.

Despite being one of the most fashionable duos in all of showbiz, Victoria opened up about not being overly thrilled at their 90s sartorial choices.

In an interview on The Tonight Show in 2022, the designer told host Jimmy Fallon: “It just seemed like a good idea at the time. It really did.

“I think there was a naiveté then. We didn't know about fashion. We were just having fun with it, which, to be honest with you, is kind of the way it should be. I really wish I had the courage to do it more now."
