Leigh Francis - The Great British Bake Off Stand Up to Cancer

“I won celebrity Bake Off!” the Keith Lemon comedian celebrated, before describing a cheeky moment which happened during his time on the show. “I built a foot cake - I don’t think it went in the show - but I said to Paul Hollywood ‘Put my toe in your mouth’ and he did! He put my cakey toe in his mouth.”

Jodie Prenger - Lost Boys and Fairies

Coronation Street and West End superstar Jodie Prenger’s choice for TV moment of the year was catching up with the gay adoption drama Lost Boys and Fairies on BBC One.

“I only cry at animals, but this one [show] - it blew my mind,” Prenger shared. Explaining how moving she’d found the show, she recommended it to anyone who hadn’t watched just yet for its emotional storytelling.

Shirley Ballas - Mr Bates vs The Post Office

Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas named ITV’s drama based on the real-life Post Office scandal as her TV moment of the year so far. “That was the most touching thing I’ve watched all year,” she said about the show.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2024, Shirley also told about what viewers can expect from Strcitly’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

“I believe it’s going to be the most fantastic [celebrity] line-up ever… I think you're going to be surprised at some of the people that they've managed to get on this show.”

Gogglebox’s Malone Family - Bridgerton

While Tom Snr. and Shaun of Gogglebox’s Malone family couldn’t think of which show out of the many they have watched which they would name as the best of 2024 so far, Julie had no trouble telling us her answer.

“Bridgerton,” she confidently replied, explaining that finding out the romantic Netflix drama would be returning was one of the best moments of her year.
