Daniel Craig is set to be in good company for the next Knives Out film, after Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner has been added to the cast.

Called Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, Renner joins Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc alongside Andrew Scott.

The first two films, Knives Out and Glass Onion have both boasted star-studded casts and have been smash-hits, so it's no surprise that celebs are lining up to be included.

Also set to star alongside Jeremy will be Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Josh O'Connor and Cailee Spaeny.

There are also new rumours that Mila Kunis will join the cast.

Rian Johnson will return as director, alongside Ram Bergman.

Renner has been busy working on Mayor Of Kingstown, and the Knives Out sequel will be his first feature film project since his horror snowplow accident in 2023.

He has undergone many surgeries, as well as rehab and physical therapy.

The new film will appear on Netflix once again, after shelling out a whopping $450 million for the two sequels.

According to Deadline, production is set to start next month.

The film is slated for a 2025 release on Netflix.

The official X account has been sharing hilarious responses to the ensuing excitement from each announcement.

'OK everybody, just calm down... buttress some feelings... bury some others' they wrote.

Director Rian wrote: 'I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There's a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies.'

Rian continued: 'We're about to go into production on the 3rd one, and I'm very, very excited to share the title, which gives a little hint of where it's going.'
