Rylan Clark shares heart-warming message for a fan with Alzheimer’s

Rylan Clark has reached out to a fan with Alzheimer’s who believes the TV star is his best friend. 

Julia Cameron (@thejulescameron) shared the story on her Instagram and explained that her father believes he is friends with the Eurovision host. 

In a video posted to the app, Julia’s dad talks about being good friends with Rylan and that the TV personality visited his house “not so long ago”. Julia then shows her father a clip of Rylan has sent her to show his ‘mate’ and wish him well.

“Ewan, it’s your mate Rylan. I hope you’re well. Sorry, I ain’t seen you for a little while, but I hope you’re good, and I look forward to seeing you really, really soon! Lots of love, we’ll grab a beer,” Rylan says in the clip. 

“See you again soon,” Ewan replies to the video. 

In the caption, Julia wrote: “Thanks to @rylan, you absolute legend for making his and our day! My dad’s been talking how Rylan is his best mate for quite some time. Always best to go along with these things when dealing with Alzheimer’s. My dad is the cutest 🥰 @alzheimersresearchuk”.

In the comments, fans gushed over Rylan’s kindness, with one person writing: “Omg this is the cutest! @rylan you absolute ledge xxx”. 

Another said: “Love this ❤️ @rylan is the best”.

While a third added: “What a beautiful idea ! My hearts with you all ❤️”.

Rylan has recently released a new show on BBC Two with Rob Rinder, called Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour.  Both of the TV stars have recently been through a divorce and have embarked on the tour in the hope that it will kick-start a new chapter in their lives. 

The series sees Rylan and Rob following in the footsteps of Byron and other Grand Tourists, immersing themselves in the art, culture, bad behaviour and life-changing exploits of historic Brits abroad.
