Ant McPartlin has assured fans that a special member of his family is in fact, present on his latest tattoo.

The Britain’s Got Talent presenter and wife of three years, Anne-Marie Corbett, welcomed their first baby, Wilder, earlier this month.

In an Instagram post announcing the news, Ant said: “Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!”.

He also shared an image of him holding his new baby, which also showed off his new tattoo of a family tree.

The picture showed that the tattoo included a name of his wife (with the nickname Amzie), his two stepdaughters, Poppy and Daisy and his two dogs, Milo and Bumble.

However, fans were concerned that his labrador, Hurley, whom Ant shares with his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong, was not included.

But Ant has now cleared the air.

The presenter shared another picture of the tattoo yesterday (18th May) and thanked fans for their “kind messages of love” and was overjoyed they liked the tattoo.

He added: “For all you dog lovers who asked why my beloved Hurley wasn’t on the family tree… he was!! He was just covered by our newborn. All my love, gratitude and heartfelt thanks.”

The Geordie star and telly partner Dec recently wrapped up their beloved weekend series Saturday Night Takeaway  in order to spend more time with their families.

Announcing the news of SNT’s break, Ant and Dec said at the time that ending on the 20th milestone was the “perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath”.

Talking to Fault magazine, McPartlin said: “Part of the reason we’re pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family. We’ve both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit.”
