Huge congrats are in order for singer Olly Murs, who has just welcomed his first baby with wife Amelia.

The chart-topper confirmed via Instagram that “mini-Murs” had arrived with a sweet snap of the couple walking out of hospital together while holding the baby carrier.

Revealing the name in the caption, Olly wrote: “Our mini murs has arrived. Madison we love you so much already x.”

Olly and Amelia’s celeb friends were quick to share their love in the comments. Josh Must Win star Vicky Pattison replied: “Congratulations you guys,” while Mark Wright commented: “Buzzing for you both guys. Love yas.”

Olly and Amelia tied the knot last year after getting engaged in 2022, and last December, Olly announced they were pregnant after posting a sweet picture of the two with an ultrasound image of their baby.

The Troublemaker hitmaker also made headlines by putting together a surprise Greggs-inspired baby shower for his wife.

Held at their local village hall in Essex, friends and family of the couple were treated to the extravaganza of Sausage, Bean & Cheese Melts and bespoke designed pastry bags which said 'The Murs the merrier!' while The Voice star amused guests and dressed up as a giant sausage roll.

Speaking to Virgin Radio’s Jayne Middlemiss, Olly explained how it all came about.

He said: “So Greggs contacted me and said, ‘We’d love to team up for the baby shower’. So I kept it all hush-hush as a surprise. So, we decided to do it and they brought this big sausage roll fancy dress costume.

“I said, ‘I’m not getting in that.’ But we had a bit of lunch, and when I arrived at the [baby shower] in the evening, all the kids were there. They had eaten so much Greggs and they were nagging me to put it on.”

He continued: “So I stuck it on and that photo has gone everywhere on the internet. But I love doing stuff like that, anything to make people smile and have a laugh. I don’t take myself too seriously.”
