Chloe Hewitt delights fans with engagement announcement on Instagram.

Excitement swept through the dance community as former Strictly Come Dancing pro Chloe Hewitt revealed a dazzling engagement ring on Instagram, sharing the joyful news of her upcoming nuptials with long-term partner George.

In a post that lit up social media, the show's former dancer exclaimed: "Still taking this all in … WE’RE ENGAGED."

The heartfelt announcement prompted an outpouring of congratulations from Chloe's fellow Strictly co-stars, with Amy Dowden sharing in the joy, saying: "Argh congratulations, so happy for you Chlo."

Katya Jones was in awe, exclaiming: "Ahhhh Chloe!!! Massive congratulations!"

And Dianne Buswell was quick to offer their well wishes: "Awww so happy for you."

Chloe, who embarked on her Strictly journey in 2016 alongside partners AJ Pritchard and Neil Jones, captured the hearts of viewers with her talent and infectious energy.

Although she initially graced the Strictly stage without a celebrity partner, her presence in group dances and appearances on sister show, It Takes Two, ended up leaving a lasting impression.

Departing from the show in 2018, Chloe transitioned into a role as a dance teacher based in Wrexham, where she continues to inspire budding dancers with her passion and expertise.

Throughout her career, Chloe has shared glimpses of her personal life and professional achievements, showcasing her love for dance and her unwavering dedication to her craft.

At the time of joining, Chloe was the show’s youngest pro, and said: "My childhood dream of being on Strictly Come Dancing is now reality! The sheer excitement is exhilarating."

From heartwarming moments with George to captivating performances on stage, Chloe's journey has been a testament to her resilience and determination.

Reflecting on her time on Britain's Got Talent, where she auditioned alongside AJ Pritchard in 2014, Chloe fondly recalled the exhilarating experience of competing on live television.

"We had a great time," she later said to the Express.

"It was one of the first times doing TV as well so just being able to experience all that was crazy as well."

Despite narrowly missing out on the top prize, being knocked in the semi-finals, she cherished the opportunity to showcase her talent and connect with audiences across the country.

When asked about her Strictly exit, she added: "You know what, I have no idea. We were on tour last year and we got the annual phone call and the producer just said they’ve loved having me on the show and that I wouldn’t be brought back that year.

"I don’t actually know and I don’t think I’ll ever know the reason why."

But she didn’t rule out a return, adding in 2019: "I think I’d be silly if I turned around and said, 'Absolutely not', but I don’t know… I think it would kind of be in the moment, like the feelings I have at the time."

As Chloe looks ahead to this new chapter in her life, she remains grateful for the love and support of her fans and colleagues.

While her departure from Strictly Come Dancing marked the end of one chapter, Chloe's engagement signifies the beginning of an exciting new adventure.

With her trademark enthusiasm and infectious spirit, Chloe is sure to bring joy and laughter to all who join her on this journey.
