Top supermodel Naomi Campbell rather characteristically upped the standards of dress and style at the BAFTA film awards 2024.

They might not have appeared on the silver screen this year but Naomi Campbell is most definitely a star that commands attention on any red carpet, regardless of the occasion.

Appearing as a self described 'spectator 'and supporter of friends at BAFTA 2024, Naomi was happy to uplift others and praise everyone's fierce fashion choices.

Gushing with compliments, Naomi said: "It's an incredible line-up. It's incredible that everyone came to London. It's great."

When pressed to specify who in particular was best dressed or whom she thought was most deserving of an award, Naomi was rather demure choosing instead to share the love around.

Happily she turned the spotlight on her companions, saying: "I just want to be a spectator tonight and just see my friends win, and all the blood, sweat and tears they've put into them consciously. It has been a great great year for us to all see their work."

Naomi may not be being celebrated for iconic status by BAFTA, but she is clearly worthy of praise for her awe inspiring career as a model.

In fact, she is due to have a retrospective of all of her most memorable looks later this year, she said: "My show will be on the 19th of June at the Victorian & Albert Museum. It's going to be everything I've ever collected since I was 16 years old. So it's gonna be my life through clothes, photos, letters, illustrations."

With a career that spans four decades, there would almost certainly be enough material to draw from, though Naomi was herself aghast as she: "didn't know I had that much to be honest."

Explaining why she wished to share her illustrious rise to the top of the fashion, Naomi said: : "It felt the right time to do it, because it's something I want my kids to have, and know about what do."

Meanwhile, Oppenheimer was the big winner of the BAFTAs night, picking up seven prizes overall.

Christopher Nolan remarkably won his very first BAFTA for directing Oppenheimer, and thanked audiences for “taking on something quite dark and seeing potential in it.”
