Another Super Bowl, another awesome halftime show, as the 2024 edition saw a roller-skating Usher joined by the likes of will.i.am, Alicia Keys and Ludacris, while Taylor Swift watched on from the stands.

Ahead of the 15-minute performance, a warning jokingly advised that the show could cause "singing, dancing, sweating, gyrating, and possible relationship issues".

The R ‘n’ B star then appeared onstage at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, opening with Caught Up. At one point he roller-skated his way around the stage.

While the much-rumoured collaboration with Justin Bieber didn’t happen, there were plenty of special guests, the first was Alicia Keys, who played one of her own big hits, If I Ain't Got You, before the pair performed their duet, My Boo.

Lil Jon also helped out with Turn Down For What. Producer-rapper Jermaine Dupri teamed up with Usher for Confessions Part II, and H.E.R. also joined him onstage for U Got It Bad and Bad Girl (interlude).

Later in the show, Usher delivered OMG with will.i.am, and brought out Lil Jon and Ludacris for Yeah!.

And the stars weren’t just on the stage, as watching the show were the likes of Jay-Z, Paul Rudd, Blake Lively, Lana Del Ray and Taylor Swift.

The latter flew in fresh from her Tokyo arena show to watch her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, play in the Super Bowl.

The Kansas City Chiefs fought back to beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime. It was their third Super Bowl victory in the last five years.

Usher’s performance added to a list of impressive Super Bowl halftime shows from various acts across the years, including the likes of U2, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, Madonna and Prince.
