I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! bid adieu to its sixth star, Marvin Humes, just days before the highly anticipated final.

The unexpected departure of Marvin Humes left campmates and fans of I'm a Celeb alike in a state of shock, reshaping the dynamics as the competition inches closer to its climax.

As Marvin hugged his fellow contestants, expressing his happiness, the camp realised that Josie Gibson, Sam Thompson, Nigel Farage, and Tony Bellew are the final four contenders for the jungle crown.

Upon learning about his exit, the 38-year-old JLS star graciously said: "Cheers, guys," embracing each campmate before sharing his thoughts with hosts Ant and Dec.

He expressed his joy at being out, especially after the emotional reunion with his wife Rochelle, who surprised him in camp.

Marvin gleefully remarked: "This is mental, yeah, it does feel good [to be out]. You know, after yesterday [the reunion], that was unbelievable, seeing Rochelle in camp was the most amazing feeling ever. So to leave today, it's perfect."

Reflecting on his overall experience, Marvin extended gratitude to the show, calling it the best on TV. He acknowledged the incredible crew, describing them as "world class," and marvelled at being part of such an unbelievable journey. With a sense of accomplishment, he remarked: "I can't believe I've come this far, you know, to make it to 22 days!"

Before reuniting with his wife Rochelle, from This Morning and The Saturdays, on the iconic jungle bridge, Marvin disclosed his wish for either Sam or Tony to emerge victorious.

Twitter exploded with reactions as viewers shared their thoughts on Marvin's exit. Fans praised his genuine and kind demeanour, expressing disbelief that he didn't make it to the final four.

One tweet remarked: "Aw, I really loved Marvin. He came across as so genuine and kind #ImACeleb," while another pondered: "Marvin even thanking the crew??? How is this man not in the final four!! #ImACeleb."

Marvin's journey on I'm A Celebrity included participation in challenging trials like Grotty Little Christmas, Critter Mixer, and Fly On The Wall.

His final trial, Grotty Little Christmas, marked the culmination of his jungle adventure. Notably, his departure occurred just two days after Rochelle's arrival in Australia, ensuring she was present on the bridge to bid him farewell.

In a heartwarming reunion on Friday's episode, Marvin expressed his gratitude for everything in his life, emphasising the transformative nature of the I'm A Celebrity experience.

The couple is set to enjoy a weekend reunion and quality time together at their Gold Coast hotel.

Before entering the jungle, Marvin had specific fears to confront, including heights. His stint on the show saw him skydiving into the camp, a feat that made his children proud.

Marvin formed a close bond with fellow contestant Sam, sharing dance routines and even suggesting Sam could join JLS on tour next summer.

“It brings happiness to the camp,” Humes said of his singing in the camp, revealing that he’d be happy for his campmate Thompson to join JLS on stage for a rendition of Everybody in Love at some stage in the future.

“There’s not been any real beef with anyone,” Humes said of peaceful camplife, adding that the “bonds” in this year’s series “have been amazing”.

He said the experience has been “life changing”, telling Ant and Dec that it’s made him “appreciate” what he has in life. “This experience will stay with me forever,” he added.

He also opened up about starting his family shortly after proposing to Rochelle in The Maldives, narrating the unique story of their early days.

He told Nella and Josie: “We got back home, immediately started planning the wedding. We got married, we had five days together, then she went to America for six weeks to shoot a TV show in LA. Then I met her in New York, we had one night together in New York, she went back to LA, I went back to London, six weeks later she was pregnant, from that one night in New York.”

As Marvin Humes bids farewell to the jungle, leaving behind a trail of memorable moments and camaraderie, the final leg of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! promises heightened excitement and suspense as the remaining four contestants vie for the coveted title.

The journey continues to captivate audiences with its blend of challenges, surprises, and heartfelt connections in the heart of the jungle.
