Big Brother has been going down a storm with viewers over the past few days - but are the contestants getting a little too comfortable?

Well, Big Brother is about to make sure they don’t get too comfortable, as it’s almost time for the sixteen housemates to make their first nominations for who they want to put up for public elimination from the famous house.

ITV has been keeping a lot of the details of the rebooted show very secret, including only revealing the new house a few days before its launch and only revealing the contestants during the first show.

However, the broadcaster has now revealed all you need to know about the first lot of nominations.

When will the Big Brother nominations be revealed?

Big Brother will reveal the housemates’ nominations tonight: Thursday, 12th October.

While this evening’s episode of Big Brother will continue to just show the highlights from yesterday’s day at the house, the housemates’ nominations from today will be revealed on the show’s live spin-off show, Big Brother: Late & Live.

Then on Friday, the nominations will then be confirmed ahead of the first eviction, which will be hosted live by AJ Odudu and Will Best.

Who will face the public vote?

It’s currently unknown which of the housemates will be nominated to face the elimination vote.

However, in a twisty turn of events, after Olivia was accidentally put up for nomination by Jenkin on the first night in the house, her later success at completing Big Brother’s task to avoid being ranked as the house’s least entertaining resident means she is now immune from the first set of nominations.

Therefore, we do know that unless there are any more twists in store for poor Olivia, she will not be up for elimination this week.

Big Brother will continue on ITV2 and ITVX this evening from 9pm.
