If you're looking for something new to enjoy on telly now the heatwave is over, you'll be thrilled to know Taskmaster is back with more hilarity for the sixteenth season.

Your favourite hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne return with a whole new series of guests and madcap challenges to keep them (and us) on edge.

Here's all you need to know about the new series.

Who is taking part in Taskmaster Series 16?

This season's line-up includes Lucy Beaumont, Sam Campbell, Julian Clary, Sue Perkins and Susan Wokoma

Lucy Beaumont is a stand-up comedian who you might recognise from 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Meet The Richardsons.

Sam Campbell has appeared on Stath Lets Flats, and Julian Clary became famous on Friday Night Live, as well as Sticky Moments, Murder Most Fab and winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2012.

Sue Perkins familiar to viewers as the former host of The Great British Bake Off.

Completing the line-up is Susan Wokoma, who starred in Chewing Gum and Enola Holmes.

When can I watch Taskmaster Series 16 and how many episodes are there?

It starts tonight, September 21 at 9pm and you can watch it on Channel 4.

The first episode will feature jousting, a pyramid of cans, and a race involving giant ducks.

It lasts for an hour and you can catch up via Channel 4’s streaming service 4od.

The series will run for 10 weeks, with an episode weekly.

A winner will be crowned some time in November.
