Rolling Stones announced that new album Hackney Diamonds will include late drummer Charlie Watts on at least one track, as well as some other very special guests.

The Rolling Stones officially unveiled to the world, live via youtube, the release date of their first original full length record in 18 years, Hackney Diamonds.

They told host Jimmy Fallon, himself the self-proclaimed number one Stones fan, that the album is expected to be released on Friday 20th October and that new single, Angry, was available today before premiering the new video that accompanies the release.

With palpable excitement being felt in the crowd as well as from the late night show host, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood then blew the roof of the Hackney Empire with another incredible revelation.

Not only will the new album allegedly feature legendary musical artists Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga, but the album will also include the last currently known recordings of late drummer Charlie Watts.

Having sadly passed away in 2021, fans were devastated at the idea of never hearing anything new from the seminal stick man but thanks to some old recordings, taken from a session in 2019, Jagger and Co were able to construct at least two new songs from them for the new album.

One of thosse tracks in particular, Live By the Sword, will also feature former bassist Bill Wyman, bringing the original rhythm section back together for one final time.

The conference then went on to exclusively premiere the video for new track 'Angry' which also had a surprisingly revelation all of its own.

Euphoria and White Lotus breakout star Sydney Sweeney appeared in the audience to announce that she will be starring in the video.

When interviewed by Fallon about what the experience was like she said it was 'the biggest thing I have ever done' and that she immediately called her family when she got the news.

The video features Sweeney dressed in leather rocker, biker chic on the back of a red Mercedes cruising down the roads of LA, past billboards of The Stones at various point in there career.

The Rolling Stones come roaring out of the traps today with the release of their rocking single 'Angry' (Listen Here.) It arrives alongside the announcement of their hugely anticipated new album, titled ‘Hackney Diamonds’ and released on October 20th.
