Len Goodman's family has launched a fundraiser to help to remember the star after his sad death.

The former Strictly Come Dancing judge passed away from bone cancer just days before his 29th birthday.

Loved ones have remembered Len as "warm, witty and wonderful."

Len's son has shared details of a fundraiser on The Goodman Academy page.

"This site is a tribute to the warm, witty and wonderful Len Goodman, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side," Len's son James Goodman wrote.

"How we wish he was still here with us but we are so proud of what he achieved, the happiness he brought us all and the legacy he has left."

He added: "He was known to millions as the first Head Judge on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars but to many of us, who knew him personally, he was just “Lucky Len with the boyish grin”.

"We know he has had an impact on many of you over the years as a friend, teacher, mentor and judge and so we have created this site for you to share your stories and memories of his life."

"Len had four charities that were close to his heart that he had supported over the years and we hope that you would also consider making a donation, no matter how small, in his memory."

The four charities are; Demelza Hospice Care for Children, Age UK, Hospice in the Weald and Variety The Children's Charity.

Fans have been paying tribute to the star with their donations.

"I worked at The London Golf club in the early 2000’s and often served Len either in the spike bar or at numerous charity golfing events. A legend and truly charming man, if not a bit cheeky! RIP Len, I’ll remember our interactions fondly," wrote one.

Another added: "Such a lovely down to earth man who made such an impact to our Saturday night tv viewing. Thank you Len, the memories will live forever. RIP."
